One of my favorite things to do is host a party!
With the help of my best friend Lindsey we decided to create a taco bar with refreshing drinks and a bunch of yummy sides for our friends!
The taco bar consisted of marinated carne asada and chicken from the local meat market. Rice and beans we got from Bobby D’s for larger servings and Lindsey made her homemade guacamole and salsa which went out fast!!!
My favorite side Lindsey made was the street corn!
This drink can be made with either gin or vodka but we used gin. Add grapefruit with large ice cubes and a hint of rosemary and there ya go!!!
Purée watermelon, add watermelon juice, gin, crushed ice, lime juice, and one fresh lime. This drink can also be mixed with vodka instead of gin.
Due to the hot weather we kept food and drinks inside but it didn’t stop us from having a good time! Make it your own! Cheers!!!
